Friday

3:00pm. BYOB and Appetizer on the dock
8:00pm. Music and Drinks in the bar and boat

Saturday
7:30-9:30am -Breakfast and eye-openers on the dock (provided)
9:30 am – Golfers catch a ride in the Islander Resort van to the golf course
10:30- mid afternoon (?)  Golf Tournament, Lopez Island Golf (drinks available) Van back to the Islander To Club
5pm – Steak Fry, Islander Club House Bring your own steak, plate, utensils, Gas BBQ’s will be provided (Drinks must be purchased at the bar)
Please bring a side dish/dessert to share: A-H: sides/salads   L-Z: desserts
6pm – Tournament awards, auction and raffle
8pm – Music and drinks in the bar and boats

Sunday
7:30-noon – Breakfast and eye-openers on the dock (provided)

Crabfest @ Oak Harbor Marina

RSVP to the marina directly by July 21 as part of the Swinomish YC—they are holding space for us!!  They can be reached at (360) 279-4575. The dates to reserve are for the nights of July 28 & 29.  Remember to let them know that you are with the Swinomish Yacht Club so that your boat can be close to the rest of the pack.

There are two competitive parts to this event.

Catching the Crab

Cooking the Crab, aka Crabfest Chopped

Here is how it works:

Catching the Crab

Friday evening the competition traps will be registered with the competition committee

$20 per trap will be the entry fee. This will fund the prize package

Friday evening or early Saturday morning the traps will be set after registration

Saturday at 12 noon the traps will be pulled, the counts and measuring will commence

Prizes for quantity and largest crab will be awarded

Donated crabs for Crabfest Chopped will be auctioned. All donations need to be legal for keeping and auction funds will be donated for the club

Crabfest Chopped

Crabfest Chopped participants will purchase 1 of 5 Chopped Boxes at the Crabfest Chopped auction. Each box will have sur-prise ingredients!

Chopped participants can either purchase as a team or an individual

All food submissions must be prepared and cooked on your boat

Judges will be chosen from those not participating in the Chopped competition

Rules will be provided at the event

Friday night—appys. to share on the dock

Saturday night after Crabfest Chopped—POTLUCK!!!

Bring a crab side dish to share – dessert will be provided

Coffee and drinks will be provided on the dock in the mornings—breakfast on your own
